PHOTOGRAPHY SENIOR STUDENT ELSON LAHOUD SWEEPS THE 2016 BYBLOS BANK AWARD FOR PHOTOGRAPHY

For the second consecutive year, the Department of Design has set another milestone for the Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design with the emergence of new talents.

On September 18, 2016, numerous photos had been submitted by photography students in the hope of winning one of Lebanon’s most prestigious photography awards “The 2016 Byblos Bank Award”, and NDU’s very own senior photography student , Elson Lahoud took home the Prize.

Last year’s winner Carmen Yahchouchy and student Tarek Haddad, also took part in the “New World/Nouveau Monde” exhibition at Beirut Art Fair – Biel and were selected to be part of a workshop curated by Franco-Algerian Artist Halida Boughriet and organized by Byblos Bank & Beirut Art Fair.
